You're invited to a fun afternoon of Pétanque

French Affair is delighted to be hosting a Pétanque afternoon in conjunction with the Boules Artistes Pétanque Club. Learn to play the iconic French game of Pétanque at this fun, social event.

When: The fourth Sunday of each month and EVERY Thursday night.

Sunday Times: 1.30pm to 5.30pm. If you're a beginner, make sure you're on time so the friendly regulars can give you a quick lesson in the art of Petanque before we kick off the organised games.

Thursday Times: 5.00pm to 8.00pm. This is not a competition, so you can come any time and join in.

Where: Kirribilli Green, South Alfred St, Milsons Point, Right next to Milsons Point Railway Station

Cost: Sunday: Just $10 for all this fun (Or become a social member and it's only $5!) Thursday: FREE!

Equipment: Bring your own boules if you have them .. but don't worry if you haven't as boules can be provided for you to use on the day at no charge.

Thursday night is a casual night with no competitions. On Sunday, there's so much more than just Pétanque ..

Practice your French as you mingle with other French people and Francophiles.

On Sunday, we play a mixed Super Melee where you can choose your partner or play with a partner drawn out of the hat - and changed for each of the three rounds. You can play with different folk each time: a great way to mix the beginners with the experts and create a fun, social day.
