There’s something lovely about sitting down to a table that makes you smile. The Wild Poppy square stain resistant tablecloth brings that feeling to a quiet lunch, a shared pot of tea or dinner at the end of a busy day.

Its scattered poppies add coral and orange colour among fine green stems. The natural coloured background keeps the setting relaxed, with plenty of scope for your favourite crockery. White plates look fresh against the flowers, while green napkins pick up the foliage.

Made from Spanish fabric in a cotton, polyester and linen blend, it has a protective finish that helps keep everyday spills on the surface. A damp cloth takes care of most little mishaps. It’s also machine washable when it needs freshening up, so you can spend less time fussing over the table and more time enjoying it.

Caring for your stain-resistant tablecloth

Immediately wipe up any spills with a damp cloth.
Occasionally, you may want to wash your tablecloth. Machine wash in cold or warm water.
Hang on the line to dry. Do not put in the dryer.
If you want, iron the cloth on the reverse side.

Choosing your Wild Poppy square tablecloth size

Measure each side of your table and add your preferred overhang twice. A 110 cm square table with a 20 cm overhang needs a 150 cm square tablecloth.

These are finished tablecloth measurements. Seating labels are a guide. Custom sizing is available by enquiry within this design’s narrower fabric width. Extra wide sizes are not available. Contact us with your measurements to confirm a suitable fit.

Does the coated tablecloth feel stiff?

The protective acrylic coating makes the fabric feel a little stiffer, but it still drapes nicely over the corners of your table. It’s softer than a plastic tablecloth, and you can’t tell by looking that it has a coating.

Will everyday spills wipe away?

Yes. The stain resistant coating lets most everyday spills wipe away with a damp cloth. Wipe up spills promptly to help prevent staining.

Can I wash the tablecloth?

Absolutely. The coated tablecloth is machine washable, so you can give it a wash whenever it needs a freshen up. See the Care Instructions tab for washing guidance.

Is the coated fabric safe for my family?

Yes. The coated fabric is OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning it has passed strict testing for harmful substances.

How much tablecloth overhang should I allow?

Around 15 to 25 cm on each side is a useful guide, but it comes down to the look you like and how your table is used.

Subtract your table’s side measurement from the tablecloth’s side measurement, then divide by two to see how much overhang you will have on each side.

For example, a 150 cm square tablecloth on a 110 cm square table gives 20 cm overhang on each side.
