Caring for your stain-resistant tablecloth

Immediately wipe up any spills with a damp cloth.
Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold or warm water, up to 30°C.
Hang on the line to dry. Do not put in the dryer.
If you want, iron the cloth on the reverse side.

Choose your square tablecloth size

Sizes shown are tablecloth measurements. Choose a cloth larger than your table to allow for overhang.

Measure the length and width of your tabletop to check that it is square. Decide how far you would like the cloth to hang over the edges, then add that amount twice to each measurement.

For a 110 × 110 cm table with 20 cm overhang all around:

110 + 20 + 20 = 150 cm

Choose a 150 × 150 cm square tablecloth.

To check the overhang of an available size, subtract your table measurement from the tablecloth measurement, then divide by two. Do this for the length and width.

Around 15 to 25 cm is a useful starting point. Seating labels are approximate, so check your measurements before choosing.

Does the coating affect how the tablecloth feels?

Yes. The protective acrylic coating makes the fabric feel a little stiffer, but it still drapes nicely over the corners of your table. It’s softer than a plastic tablecloth, and you can’t tell by looking that it has a coating.

What makes the tablecloth stain resistant?

The secret is the protective acrylic coating. Instead of soaking into the fabric, most everyday spills stay on the surface, making them easy to wipe away with a damp cloth.

Can I wash it in the washing machine?

Absolutely. A quick wipe is usually enough between meals, but you can machine wash your tablecloth when it needs a freshen up. See the care instructions tab for washing details.

Yes. The coated fabric is certified to the internationally recognised OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, meaning it has passed strict testing for harmful substances.

What size should I choose?

The fabric is made in Spain. Some standard sizes are made into tablecloths in Spain, while others, including all custom sizes, are handmade by us here in Australia.
