Coral and orange poppies wander through green foliage across a natural coloured background. It’s a pattern with enough colour to brighten the room, without needing much else on the table. Everyday plates, a jug of water and something good to eat will do nicely.

Choose a smaller size for the kitchen table, or one of the longer lengths when the whole family comes over. Wild Poppy is made from Spanish fabric with a blend of cotton, polyester and linen, ready to become part of the meals you enjoy at home.

And if a conversation gets interrupted by a spill, there’s no need to clear everything away. Most everyday spills stay on the surface and wipe away with a damp cloth. The tablecloth is also machine washable for a fresh start when it needs one.

Caring for your stain-resistant tablecloth

Immediately wipe up any spills with a damp cloth.
Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold or warm water, up to 30°C.
Hang on the line to dry. Do not put in the dryer.
If you want, iron the cloth on the reverse side.

Measure your table’s length and width, then add your preferred overhang twice to each measurement. A 160 × 90 cm table with a 20 cm overhang at each end and 30 cm on each side suits a 200 × 150 cm tablecloth.

Does the coated tablecloth feel stiff?

The protective acrylic coating makes the fabric feel a little stiffer, but it still drapes nicely over the corners of your table. It’s softer than a plastic tablecloth, and you can’t tell by looking that it has a coating.

Will everyday spills wipe away?

Yes. The stain resistant coating lets most everyday spills wipe away with a damp cloth. Wipe up spills promptly to help prevent staining.

Can I wash the tablecloth?

Absolutely. The coated tablecloth is machine washable, so you can give it a wash whenever it needs a freshen up. See the Care Instructions tab for washing guidance.

Is the coated fabric safe for my family?

Yes. The coated fabric is OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning it has passed strict testing for harmful substances.

How much tablecloth overhang should I allow?

Around 15 to 25 cm on each side is a useful guide, but it comes down to the look you like and how your table is used.

Subtract your table measurement from the tablecloth measurement, then divide by two. Do this for the length and width to see how much overhang you will have.

For example, a 200 × 150 cm tablecloth on a 160 × 90 cm table gives 20 cm overhang at each end and 30 cm overhang along each side.

The fabric is made in Spain. Some standard sizes are made into tablecloths in Spain, while others, including all custom sizes, are handmade by us here in Australia.
